JEAN is a PAINTER, poet and writer, born on May 2, 1946 in PLESSIS-TREVISE in the Val de Marne in France. Self-taught, he has been painting since the age of 3. His mother was a fashion designer, his grandfather a photographer reporter.
He follows a spiritual journey, like ordinary mortals (catechism, communion), and yet…
Driven by a desire and an unshakeable faith to achieve Paradise on Earth, with his wife Sylviane and their children, they made the great quantum leap of change their lives and leave what we could call the world of productivity and performance. Thus taking advantage and sharing full-time his talents as a complete artist, JEAN exhibits his works in Gruissan where he met with growing success. Along the way, other events conspire to bring him closer to the region of the legendary Pech de Bugarach 11190 which calls to him irrepressibly. He then moved to Antugnac and opened an exhibition GALLERY of his PAINTINGS in Rennes les Bains 11190.
It was then that the idea of a “multi-activity” reception space was born and took shape: Place of exchange , care, accommodation, entertainment, EXHIBITION GALLERY, etc. (OIL PAINTINGS, ACRYLIC PAINTINGS, PASTELS, WATERCOLORS)
Co-creating this idea with the Universe, for several months, it took concrete form during the winter of 2007 in Espéraza 11260 , a pretty village at the crossroads of the upper Aude Valley, Cathar castles and legends, at foot of the famous village of RENNES le CHATEAU 11190 , and near Pech de Bugarach .
Jean and Sylviane then bought and renovated a large abandoned building in the heart of the village. Then begins a challenge that he and his family take on with all their strength and their faith: Restore, develop and transform the place to match the vision of the project.
The only permanent thing in life being precisely its impermanence which perpetually pushes evolution, a new stage is reached: The exclusive refocusing on the creative activity of ART PAINTING.
This leads to the sale of the building, the cessation of adjoining activities, a future move, and a new gallery of the numerous and varied works of JEAN through this online sales site .
Everything simply happens when it is ready! Time is speeding up to the point that now our old 24 hours pass in less than 8 hours.
It is enough to preserve and above all to manifest the faith which has never left us (at most we have forgotten that we all possess it), to enter the world of everything possible, where limitations disappear. . .
